  • FC Augsburg fan shop. From memory there was a delay until about match day 5 of the 06/07 season before the custom shirts could be ordered. I visited the fan shop after match day 3 and wasn’t able to place an order when I was home in Sydney until a couple of weeks after that.

  • Karstadt Sport, Augsburg. Picked this up a couple of days before match day 1 of the 06/07 season. It was the only FCA trikot left in the store and luckily a medium.

  • On the first match day of the 06/07 season I made the trip from Sydney to Augsburg to see FCA return to the 2. Bundesliga. I was really looking forward to buying a trikot from the stadium so when the first fan shop near the main entrance was sold out of size medium, I started to get worried. After visiting all the shops at half time I found one medium left with the new sponsor, Jack Wolfskin. Besides the score, I was happy I was able to do something I’ve wanted to for a long time.
